At least in our region, for ski rentals, the industry standard seems to be a reservation system that just has customers choose the day they want to use the equipment, and then specify whether they'll be picking up morning of, or evening before. Forcing customers to choose a pickup time is not working well for us. If we have customers choose specific pickup times, our phones get inundated with customers letting us know they'll be arriving late or early (we really don't care when they arrive). Our solution was to just put one start-of-day pickup time every day with a note on each product that they can actually pick up at any time. We just learned today that by doing this, we're losing all of our same-day reservation traffic, because anyone who wants to make a reservation after the day has started is seeing zero available pickup times. Please add a "pick up anytime" feature.
