Smarter Deposits: More Time, More Clarity💡

We’ve made two updates to improve how security deposits are handled — behind the scenes and in customer communication.

What's new?

Longer authorization window: Stripe deposit holds on Mastercard now last up to 30 days (up from 7). This gives you more time to charge the deposit if plans change — especially useful for longer rentals.
*Note: Visa still limits authorizations to max 5 days

Clearer order confirmations: Your order confirmation document now support new fields that show the deposit reserved, charged, and left — If you’re customizing your document, you can now include the new deposit values.
